Looking for a lifelong partner

Hmmm… difficult to give an unbiased impression! Well, I have basically two sides. I may look more serious than I actually am. My profession (academic research) requires me to think a lot and be critical. I love my work which I do with a lot of passion. I know what I want in life. I am determined and persistent. On the other hand, I am very open-minded and flexible. In communication I prefer to say what I think and not lie. I can be firm, with myself and with others, if needed. At the same time I am very comprehensive; I can listen to others (i.e. empathic) and encourage them. I can say “I am sorry”. I try not to be judgmental. When I get confident with a woman I become very affectionate, playful, tender, and romantic. I have passion in general for life as a whole. I try to see painful experiences as a process of learning and acquiring new skills. I prefer to stay realistic even if sometimes I (like to) dream. I am cultivated but I like building car engines. Sometimes I am mysterious, often intuitive, I hope to be sexy (and sensual ;) enough, I am quite imaginative, and certainly spiritual. I do not believe that happiness depends on having a lot of money, even if it can sometimes make life more comfortable if used in the correct way. I enjoy learning new languages (I speak 5 at the moment), watching movies (sci-fi, thrillers, drama, animation) doing sports (swimming, jogging, mountain), listening to music, and dancing. I am from the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.
