Better pictures are coming

Today is my first day on this website. And trouble has already found me. Here's the problem: I don't know how to upload some good pictures of me. Am I worried? No, only frustrated. I will retire from my job at the hospital early in September 2024. I have been to Italy, and I like all things Italian. I would like to find an old house in Italy. A house that needs some tender loving care. I would like to work with the local people to restore the old house, and return the old house to its former charm and elegance. I also want to become a member of the community of Italians. I am well aware that a lot of expatriates live in Italy, and I have little or no interest in becoming a member of that community. Here is a little about my history. I was born in the USA, in the state called Minnesota. I learned a lot from my elders when I was growing up. I did not begin college until I was 24, almost 25, and I earned a bachelor of science degree from a university in the south of Minnesota. After college I joined the Peace Corps, and I lived in west Africa. I have worked in hospitals doing administrative work, but also a lot of direct patient care. I am the resident manager of the apartment building where I live. My cost of living is low, and I have saved money and I have invested my money wisely. I am always reading a book, sometimes several books. I have run out of space to write more about me.
