2nd generation Italian-Am. male looking for a Lady of similiar heritage

I'm a widower of 4+ years w/ 3 adult children plus 1 grandchild. One of my kids live at home and we have a 14 yr old Lab mix. At this point in time, I'm looking for a casual relationship with someone who might be able to understand and accept the fact that after 35 years of marriage, it's difficult to get back into the world of dating and establishing a new relationship. I'm more of a laid back person who is more comfortable staying at home or visiting with friends rather than constantly going out. I enjoy going out to breakfast a couple of times a month, having pizza on weekends and dining out at an Italian restaurant once or twice a month. I'm looking for someone who is low maintenance and who enjoys a quiet atmosphere than always being on the go. Someone who is willing to compromise if there is a difference of opinion. A person who is caring and willing to express her ideas and thoughts in a thoughtful and non-hurried manner. I currently have a contract job and also have 2 seasonal, part-time positions with 2 professional sports teams and work about 35-40 events a year from mid-March-Oct. In addition, I volunteer with 2 local organizations and am on the executive board for each group. Both groups meet once a month plus possibly 1 or 2 special events for 1 group.
