Life as a dual citizen who has lived in multiple countries makes one realize that there is no perfect place - each place has many great things and a few not-so-great things. Now my entrepreneurial activities have me living in two cities - Boston and New York - and I am faced with a similar problem. Both are great cities in many ways. My kids are in their 20s and have moved away, my former wife is happily remarried, so nothing ties me to one place or the other. So perhaps the first thing that you will need is patience for someone who is not often in the same place for a long time. If you enjoy being both in Boston and New York, that would be a great sign because it probably means you enjoy traveling and you appreciate diversity. Perhaps you too have lived in multiple countries and speak more than one language. You'd have to be in good shape to keep up with me: I would love it if you could run, ski, do triathlons and even kick my ass all three, but it would be great if you at least did some athletic and outdoors activities. Staying home to cook can be at least as fun as going out. Being open minded, tolerant and kind will make us an even better match. And if there is a spark when we meet ... you might just help me decide where I want to be spending more of my time. :-)
