Cerco Italiano verace

I am a first generation Italian,have lived in Kansas City for the past 13 years. I have one child who is now 19 years old. I believe that the old italian saying "moglie e buoi dei paesi tuoi" is very much a true statement. I am hoping to meet a person that like me grew up in Italy or in the mediteranean area,someone able to appreciate our similarities. I have learned that It is very important to share the same background and cultural interests with that special person. If you speak Italian I consider that a plus. I am very romantic with the right person, I am also very indipendent and I cherish my space.
